Performance Evaluation for Dads Resource Centre
Project Overview: This project focuses on evaluating Dads' Resource Center' performance based on information gathered from its CEO's communications, website, academic resources, and other relevant materials. Participants will analyze both the external and internal environments, assess strategic approaches, and provide recommendations to improve company performance. Key Project Activities: Introduction: Students will examine the company's mission, vision, and industry background. Information Needed from the Organization: Company background, annual revenue, and number of employees. Your company's mission and vision statements. List of key competitors (both current and potential). External Environment Analysis : Students will identify industry forces, opportunities, threats, and macroeconomic factors affecting the company. Information Needed from the Organization: Top industry forces influencing your company’s competitive position. Current strengths & weaknesses. Top three competitors. Insights on macroeconomic factors affecting the company. Internal Environment Analysis: Students will assess resources, capabilities, and competitive advantages. Information Needed from the Organization: List of actual and potential resources. Information on core competencies and competitive advantages. Strategic Analysis: Students will conduct SWOT analysis and evaluate functional, business, and corporate strategies. Information Needed from the Organization: SWOT analysis insights (Strengths & Weaknesses provided above). Specific functional strategies (e.g., cost savings, product differentiation). Business-level and corporate-level strategies. Any global strategies or plans for (product) expansion. Company Performance Analysis : Participants will analyze the company's performance and estimate profit margins over a three-year period. Information Needed from Your Organization: Company’s financial performance data for the last three years (Net Income, Revenue, etc.). Summary and Recommendations: Students will synthesize their analysis and provide actionable recommendations for company improvement.

Enhancing Legal Frameworks for Single Fathers in Custody Disputes
Analyze Legal Challenges : Examine the systemic issues single fathers face in family court and related systems, including misuse of legal instruments and biases in custody disputes. Provide Legal Insights : Develop actionable recommendations to address identified challenges, focusing on fairness and adherence to human rights principles. Develop Educational Resources : Create materials to educate stakeholders on the legal and ethical implications of biases against single fathers in custody cases. Support Advocacy Efforts : Empower the Dads' Resource Center with research-backed insights to advocate for policy reforms and better practices in family law.

Implement Fundraising Campaign for the Dads' Resource Center
Founded by AccuWeather Founder and CEO Dr. Joel N. Myers, the Dads' Resource Center (www.dadsrc.org) provides education, resources and advocacy for single fathers. We would like to expand the base of financial support for the Dads' Resource Center. This can be challenging, but if you are able to successfully secure funding for an organization that works to the benefit of children and families it would be a great personal achievement and resume builder. We are looking for go getters who will work to develop and also carry out the campaign. Our goal is to secure at least one major funder of least $25,000 annual.

Social Media and Marketing Campaign for the Dads' Resource Center
Founded by AccuWeather Founder and CEO Dr. Joel N. Myers, the Dads' Resource Center (www.dadsrc.org) provides education, resources and advocacy for single fathers. We are looking to ramp up public awareness of the DRC and the need to ensure that single fathers have the opportunity to be in the lives of their children. We have a lot of research that we have done that can be repackaged, and would encourage the creation of new materials that would be more effective in promoting the organization as long as it aligns with our core messaging. We very much would welcome having students do the actual creation of media or implementation of suggested strategies. We would like to see a boost in our social media following and interactions, website traffic and (ideally notable) media placements.
